So… a while back I made this book nightstand. And then I painted my room white which necessitated de-assembling said item. I quickly realized it would never be the same again and so I set out to do what was most logical. That was, of course, to make it better. I do like it more this time and I love my white room as well! It’s so bright and blank. It feels like there is quiet space in there to just think.
It’s more squarish this time with the book stacks 2×2. I buckled the belts a little diagonally over this old wooden tray and slid my lamp base partially under the tray.

You could even paint the edges of the pages different colors, or even write on them. A favorite quote would look really cool.
