Refrigerator Grammer

Have you ever seen refrigerator poetry; little magnetic words that go on the refrigerator? Well, this plethora of little words has been around our house a long time and we like to arrange them into poems or funny sayings. It makes a great quick creative writing fix while waiting for supper to finish.

The other day, I decided to utilize them to make a grammar lesson more fun. Drew has been learning how to build a sentence and how to deconstruct it, labeling all the parts so she enjoyed taking this lesson out of the book. Quickly she began to put together her own sentences and take them apart. We love to get creative with homeschooling. It brings more life and true love of learning into the equation.

  1. I’ve just discovered your blog, quite by accident. I googled fingerless gloves crochet pattern, and found your blog. I’m making the twist fingerless gloves, but I have also enjoyed reading your other entries. I am a homeschool mom as well, and really appreciate your insight and ideas!!
