A Kitty

One of the things my little niece loves about visiting my house is my cats. So, I thought for her birthday I’d make her a kitty. I love being able to translate the lines of a thing into crochet and I tried it with a bit of an abstract vintage looking sitting kitty this time. It’s quite a different style than the last sitting kitty pattern that I made. The tail is my favorite, with it’s languid crook as if in the middle of an indifferent swish. Whew. After that sentence, I’m all done writing for the day. So here… is the pattern. And if you’d like to purchase one they are in my store.

Sew pieces together and add details with thread/yarn. I used embroidery thread for the nose and collar, sewing upholstery thread for the whiskers, and yarn for the eyes.

And just in case you were wondering… I’m not a crazy cat lady! I’m not that kind of crazy. I just like cats… a little bit.
