Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about making a quilt… What I mean by that is that I see some gorgeous quilt and I want to make one, then I remember how much work it would be and quickly it is moved into the “someday” list of things I want to do. But when I saw a pretty quilt top at Goodwill for $4, it was a bit of a no brainer. I thought I’d use it for some project if I never got to finishing it. When my daughter saw it, she wanted it in her room. We needed curtains, so it was a great match. I just finished the raw edges by hemming them and hang the quilt with clip on loops. She and I love the result and couldn’t have beaten the price tag. The only thing I don’t really love is trying to take pictures of a curtain… so forgive graininess. It looks even better in person. The light accents the shapes of each fabric piece because of the seams.

Bethany you scored again! You always find the best treasures at the Goodwill! No fair 🙂 I love colors and feel of the curtain; it’s so peaceful and cheerful. We miss you guys! Hope all is well 🙂
