My actual garden has been very finicky this year and so I may blame that in part for all of the crocheted flowers I’ve been making. Since I found a fun purpose for them I kinda went crazy. A week from today, there is a fundraiser event called The Art of Freedom in Sacramento and this group of crocheted flower bookmarks is some of my contribution to it. There will be painting, a silent auction, a store, and more! If you are in the Sacramento area, check it out here! It’s an great opportunity to raise awareness about human trafficking, raise support for victims, and to have an amazing time. Sacramento has a huge problem with human trafficking. It is a very worthy cause to reach out to victims of this serious problem.
