Yes, I’m one of those people that are obsessed with organization. I love these practical little baskets. I want to hang them on the walls of the school room for art supplies or on doorknobs for catchalls. Some will end up as toy storage, maybe in custom sizes for sets of toys! (See? One of those people for sure!)
One of my favorite kinds of projects are the ones that are useful in my home or someone else’s. I couldn’t resist making a matching pencil/crochet hook holder with my remaining blue yarn. The set would be great for little balls of yarn and crochet hooks.
The chunky yarn makes this a quick project and while the baskets are still soft, bendable, and collapsible, they will hold shape after positioned. The same patterned could be used for bigger baskets by adding more increase rounds and more reps of the “even around” rows. Enjoy the free patterns!

Basket is about 6 inches tall.
Row 1: 10 hdc in a loop, tighten loop
Row 2: 2hdc in each around (20 total)
